Cancel anytime
#- You can cancel a paid plan at any time online. Sign in, open Settings or the Pricing page, choose Manage Billing, then cancel on the Stripe billing page that opens. Subscriptions sold through Stripe Managed Payments can also be cancelled from the link in Stripe's receipt and renewal emails. No phone call or email is needed.
- If you cannot sign in, email support@thecomicchronicler.com from the email address on your account. We will cancel within one business day and confirm by email.
- Cancellation stops all future charges. You keep paid access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, your account moves to the free plan. Your chats and reading list stay unless you delete them.
Who handles refunds
#New subscriptions are sold through Stripe Managed Payments, so Stripe, or the Stripe affiliate named at checkout, is the merchant of record for them. Send every refund request to us at support@thecomicchronicler.com; approved refunds are processed through Stripe. For purchases sold through Stripe Managed Payments, Stripe may also review refund requests and payment disputes under its own terms, and may issue a refund itself. Subscriptions that started before the move are sold by us, and we process their refunds through Stripe in the same way.
Refunds
#- We do not offer a money-back guarantee.
- Payments for a billing period that has already started are not refunded, in whole or in part, except where the law requires a refund.
- Charging mistakes are always fixed. If you were charged twice, charged after you cancelled, or charged the wrong amount, email us and the incorrect charge will be refunded.
- Goodwill refunds. In other situations, for example a long service outage, you may ask for a refund. We decide these case by case, at our discretion. Granting one refund does not oblige us to grant others.
- Purchases from outside the United States. Paid plans are available only to United States residents. If a purchase is made with a billing address outside the United States, we cancel it and refund it in full.
What a refund or chargeback does to your access
#Any refund, and any chargeback or payment dispute, ends paid access immediately. The subscription is cancelled at the same time, and the account moves to the free plan. If you think a charge is wrong, please email us first: we can usually fix it faster than a bank dispute.
How to ask for a refund
#Email support@thecomicchronicler.com with the email address on your account, the date and amount of the charge, and the reason. We reply within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method; your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
Your rights under law
#Nothing in this policy limits a refund right you have under the law of the state where you live. Our Terms of Service also apply.
